What We Provide:
• Digital cameras and portable printers for use during the program.
• Participants will print and take home their favourite photos.
• Taught by Diana Nazareth, a certified Teaching Artist Instructor with Vulnerable Sector Clearance.
1. NEW! PA DAY WITH PROJECT KIDS & CAMERAS
On each PA Day you’ll learn about the fundamentals of digital photography through fun, theme-based photo scavenger hunts around Roncesvalles and other creative photo-based activities. You’ll also master the settings on your camera, learn about composition, perspective, lighting, elements of design and how to best capture the people and places in your neighbourhood. Digital cameras and accessories provided at no extra cost and students will print their photos in class to take home.
Ages: 9-13. Spots are limited. $75 for each PA Day. Pay $200 for all three. Snacks are provided, but we request that your child come with a packed lunch.

2. NEW! AFTER-SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB PROGRAM
Wednesdays, Sept. 27 to Nov. 29, 4:00 -5:30 p.m.(10 sessions) In this after-school program participants will go on fun, outdoor photo scavenger hunts, find faces in places, make photo action flip books, create friendship triptychs, learn about composition, vantage points, elements of design, scale and perspective, macro photography, and so much more in this photo-activity packed club program! At the end of this program students will receive a fine-art printed photo booklet of their favourite 20 images, and a certificate of program completion.

3. NEW! SATURDAY PROJECT KIDS & CAMERAS
Saturdays: Oct. 14-Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-12:30 pm (8 sessions) Our Saturday program is designed to teach students the photographic techniques needed to create compelling images. Each session we will explore the fundamentals of photography such as perspective, composition, and lighting as well as different and inspiring visual themes that will help them grow their photographic and visual thinking skills. We’ll also explore the history of photography, the work of iconic photographers and learn how to ‘read a photograph’ through observation and discussion of photographs depicting current events. At the end of this program students will receive a fine-art printed photo booklet of their favorite 10 images, as well as curate and mount a photo studio exhibit for their family and friends on the last session date where they will be presented with a certificate of program completion. to take home.
