Marcin Kedzior and Isabel Ochoa are working on mapping Squandered Space in Toronto. This space includes surface parking lots, abandoned buildings, and space around highway-, rail-, and hydro-corrodors. Part of this speculation deals with existing and potential public spaces, rethinking intensification in Toronto, and imagining how the city will transform with the advent of automated vehicles.
We will exhibit our work and hold public discussions at Urbanspace Gallery, 401 Richmond, in November 2016.
