STAGE: the Production is based off the novel STAGE; Real People, Real Problems, Real Life written by 23 year-old, Self-published Author and Mental Health Advocate, Brooke Write.
The main goal of this theatrical production is to bring awareness to mental illnesses and the causes behind them. We want to end the stigma associated with mental illness and emphasize the importance of equality and acceptance.
We hope the production inspires those who are battling with mental illness to heal, let go, and overcome their situations to attain self-freedom.
The production is entirely run by youth, for ages 19 and up. The play will feature 30 different circumstances that people face daily including themes such as: domestic violence, bullying and addiction.
